Sync Smith is a cross-platform Markdown editor application that provides features including but not limited to document editing, AI assistance, terminal integration, Git support, and file management. The Software is provided by Visionary Software Design Solutions, LLC ("we", "us", or "our").

By using these features, you acknowledge that your prompts and content may be processed by these services according to their respective terms and privacy policies. You are responsible for ensuring your use of AI features complies with all applicable laws and the terms of the underlying AI providers.

7. Intellectual Property

Sync Smith and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Visionary Software Design Solutions, LLC and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Your content remains your property; we claim no ownership over documents you create using the Software.

8. Payment and Billing

Pro licenses are sold as one-time purchases through our payment processor, Paddle. By making a purchase, you agree to Paddle's terms of service. All prices are listed in USD and may be subject to applicable taxes based on your location. See our Refund Policy for information about refunds.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL VISIONARY SOFTWARE DESIGN SOLUTIONS, LLC BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE.

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Software immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Software will immediately cease.
